Possession And Profession Of Faith
In these times those that believe will have to say so. We are not called to be secret agents for the LORD and His Kingdom. We are the saying agents. We say it all the time because the Master urges us to proclaim Him to the very end of the age. I will not stop talking of His graciousness all the days of my life because this times demands that the 'Redeemed of the LORD say so."
It means here that, we are redeemed so we should declare it. We are Christians so let's profess it anywhere and anytime. Are you righteous? Be right doing always. We ate not redeemed to keep it a secret.
Faith therefore should be professing to possessing and not possessing to professing.
Possession (from Hebrew: Achuzzah, miqnah, yereshah- inheritance, to own, be an owner, all acquired, a buying, an acquisition, occupancy and so on). "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator (Possessor) of heaven and earth. And
Profession (from the Greek: Homologia - an act of assured speaking, the certainty of talking even when it is not seen, repeated saying that bring about action and the spoken). The woman with the blood issue kept saying it to herself even before touching Jesus' hem of garment that if I can touch His garment I will be made whole, you cannot tell the number of times she kept professing her healings just before touching the hem of His garment and profession led her to possessing her healing. "...confession is made unto salvation..." This shows that without profession (confession), there won't be salvation. The one demanding of salvation should say so.
Who do we profess? We profess Jesus the Messiah. "Therefore holy brethren partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession (profession), Christ Jesus", Whose faithfulness is my faith, who for my sins became sin so I can be righteous; He is now the faithful One. Faith started with Him and should end with Him. He began the journey and should finish it. His death ushered in a new journey for we who believe. When He says it is finished, the old got finished and the resurrection brings the new out of the old and we are His most liked ones now. He is the reason and our profession. He owns all things, He is all things. He makes and destroys. He gives life and kills. He is the integral of all love, mercy, grace, wealth, healing, and justice. He owns all universe and all beings.
Therefore professing Him is acquiring His fullness just as He is. Je is glorified, we live in His glory. His state is glory, we are crucifies with Him so here on earth we live to glory. We walk (live) kingdoms once_ we are in Heaven and also on earth. Jesus told me in "no one has ascended to Heaven but Hr who came down from Heaven, that is the Son of Man who is in Heaven." HalleluYah! Jesus on earth lived in Heaven and earth simultaneously.
"Let us hold unswervingly to the faith we profess, for Hr Who promised is faithful." See, His promises are sure if we can hold on a little longer. When God made His promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for Him to swear by, He swore by Himself, saying, " I will surely bless you and give you many descendants." And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. Please, do not let go your profession, it may not be your possession yet bit hold on to Him who is faithful at His promises even though it may tarry.
One may say, " I am professing what I have not fully possessed and I am coming short of possessing that which I profess", God says do not stop professing it just because you have not fully possessed it. See keep talking right even if you are not feeling right, even if you are not doing and acting right keep talking right. Life is in the power of the tongue.
You may be sick in your body and your pulse is weak and the doctor says you have just but three days to live here but do not say what he says but go on in your profession saying by His stripes I am healed. There is something about this profession that is so important that God wants us to keep talking of even though things are going down. Talk about power even though you feel weak. Talk about healing even though you feel sick. Talk about the goodness in life in Jesus even though things are tough with you. Talk about your faith even though you are staggering. Talk about wealth even though you present seems very poor.
The something about you saying it is that the earth is made by God to respond to words. Declaring it is talking to the universe and all that is in it to come ready to work in one's favor. When you say it rightly, the universe brings to your bosom all said so say it right. Even though I have infirmities that contradict my profession and wonder will I ever possess what I profess, hold on a little longer.
There is no essence and joy in professing what you possessed already. The beauty of faith is in calling forth things as be not as though they were.
Watch this, "for we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?"
Look at it this way, "for we were saved in this profession of faith, but professing what is possessed is not more faith; for why does one still profess what he possesses? Giving glory with thanksgiving to the Lord always for what we have because He caused them to be.
Why do I profess even when I do not possess it? We have such an Apostle and High Priest who seats on the throne of Grace and He ordered us to come boldly to the seat of Grace where mercy is in full that we may obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need. So when we come to the seat of mercy sick, we know the One sitting on it never gets sick so we are healed.
We are bold not because we have it all but because the One who owns the throne has it all.
Now, I profess what I do not have yet because the One on the seat owns them all so I will come boldly to Him because He will not leave me unattended to. When I get sick, I confess I am healed because in and on the throne of grace is healing forever.
Prayer of Salvation
Walking or living by faith which God wants for us in this days demands a onetime becoming a citizen of the Kingdom that created the earth therefore believing this day that Jesus was, is and is to come is essential to this faith outpour.
Please, do not say no to Him, He loves you and wants you back home so I invite you to make Jesus the Lord of your life according to Acts 2:21 "... Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved." And Romans 10:9 says that "... If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thy heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved." Doing this means you are now Born Again (Born from Above) dwelling in Christ now and forever.
